I'm a vascular surgeon at South Bay Vascular Center & Vein Institute in Campbell, caring for people across the South Bay with artery, vein, and circulation problems — everything from varicose veins to limb-threatening arterial disease. I believe good vascular care starts with deeply understanding a patient's problem and goals, delivering value with each interaction, and choosing the treatment option that maximizes durability while minimizing invasiveness.
I grew up in New Orleans and studied at Rice University before earning my medical degree at the University of California, Irvine. I completed my integrated vascular surgery residency at the University of Colorado, a high-volume academic referral center, where I trained extensively in open surgery and complex endovascular techniques and served as chief resident. Along the way I earned an MBA at the University of Colorado Denver, focused on healthcare delivery and innovation.
Research is an important part of my work as a physician. I've authored more than 25 peer-reviewed publications and national conference presentations on vascular outcomes, quality improvement, and clinical trials — including an FDA Phase II trial of a novel antithrombotic therapy during the COVID-19 pandemic. I'm certified as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), and my practice includes wound care center and hyperbaric oxygen therapy for patients with hard-to-heal wounds. Staying current with the newest developments in vascular research and technology is an important part of my practice and what I'm able to offer my patients.
